Welcome to Troy University Television, from the campus of Troy University .

Troy University -TV offers a wide variety of local and national programming, as well as Distance Education Telecourses, local athletic events, concerts, and other locally produced programs.

Troy University-TV is also the home of TrojanVision Nightly News, the award winning student produced news program. TrojanVision Nightly News airs weeknights at 5:00 with rebroadcasts at 6:30 and 10:30 (CT)

TrojanVision News @ Noon is the training ground for TrojanVision Nightly News and airs every weekday at 12:00 noon (CT) (News @ Noon is not aird during the summer semester)

Video Equipment and Services

A variety of video equipment and services are available for use by students in a supervised lab setting through the Department of Radio and Television.

Many students use equipment and make videos for various television journalism classes and as part of hands-on training for Troy University-Television daily newscasts. See the Television Manager or Production Coordinator on the ground floor of Wallace Hall in the Television Production area. Students in all academic disciplines can use the video equipment and make videos by working through their faculty to meet the video aspects of their course requirements.

Faculty and students should work through the Department of Radio and Television, Television Manager.

Staff and faculty can have videos planned, developed and produced to meet University needs by contacting the Director of the Department of Radio and Television.

Each year the Department of Radio and Television helps Troy students produce TrojanVision Television newscast segments, which win a variety of statewide and regional awards. The practical experience gained at Troy University Television has helped many students get Broadcast Journalism positions.
